Tranzito-Vector LLC

Tranzito-Vector is a joint venture between Tranzito, an organization focused on helping public agencies manage curb space and build equitable transportation, and Vector Media, a large U.S. transit advertising company. Based in Los Angeles, the venture designs, builds, installs and operates bus shelters and street-furniture amenities across Los Angeles County under the city's Sidewalk and Transit Amenities Program (LA STAP). Its shelters integrate weather-protective structures, LED lighting, digital displays for real-time transit information, phone charging, solar-powered canopies and advertising surfaces, drawing on Vector Media's out-of-home advertising capabilities to monetize the network.

The program is positioned around equity, climate resilience through shade and solar integration, accessibility, and rider safety, and includes smart technology such as earthquake early-warning notifications from NotifyLA and ShakeAlert. Tranzito-Vector plans to deploy roughly 3,450 new structures across the county's council districts over roughly a decade, a substantial increase over prior shelter programs. The company combines transit-infrastructure development with digital and static out-of-home advertising, functioning as both a street-furniture operator and an advertising media owner for the Los Angeles market.

It emphasizes serving low-income and transit-dependent communities while creating advertiser-facing inventory embedded in high-traffic public rights-of-way throughout the region.
