ICU Art - In Creative Unity
ICU Art (In Creative Unity) is a Los Angeles-based media and production company that specializes in hand-painted murals and custom design, serving markets across the country through a national network of walls and highly skilled artists. Founded in 1993 and co-owned by Jeanna Penn and Stash Maleski, the company began by presenting large-scale graffiti art exhibitions and moved into public mural work by the mid-1990s; many of its artists started as street graffiti painters.
Today ICU Art manages teams of muralists in cities nationwide, painting in their local communities, with production talent noted in markets including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Portland, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, Nashville, Atlanta and others. The company produces both commercial brand murals and community-based murals, and it creates original mural work for films, television shows, music videos and commercials.
