Kitcast

Kitcast

Kitcast is a cloud-based digital signage software platform that lets teams design, schedule, and publish content to commercial displays from a centralized dashboard. The company launched in 2015 and introduced what it describes as the first digital signage app on the Apple TV App Store, and it has since grown into a cross-platform content management system used to manage screens across multiple locations, with remote updates, monitoring, and user permissions. Kitcast runs on a wide range of hardware, including Apple TV (tvOS), Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, BrightSign players, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS smart TVs, ChromeOS devices, macOS, iOS, and web browsers, giving deployers flexibility in how they build out a network.

Key features include offline playback that caches content locally so screens keep running during network outages, a library of more than 500 professionally designed templates, multi-location management with role-based access, real-time emergency notifications, time-based scheduling, and screen zoning that splits a display into regions showing different content at once. Common use cases include internal communications, digital menu boards, wayfinding, dashboards, promotions, and waiting-room content, and the platform serves industries such as education, healthcare, retail, corporate communications, fitness, hospitality, and government. Pricing starts at $7 per screen per month on an annual plan, with Pro and Enterprise tiers adding SSO, MDM integration, a REST API, and dedicated support.

Kitcast reports serving roughly 10,000 companies across more than 170 countries and has earned design and industry awards including Red Dot and ISE Best of Show.
