Founded in 1968 when Larry Garrett acquired Armco Steel's billboard division, the company remains privately held and family-operated across multiple generations, and it has been researching, designing, and manufacturing digital billboards for decades. Its FTX line of digital displays is engineered for high brightness and energy efficiency, and Formetco backs its LED products with an exclusive 10-year LED brightness warranty that was previously unavailable in the industry.
